Dryspace Environmental Policy Statement
Dryspace Inflatable Structures are probably the most eco-friendly solution in the world of temporary structures, marquees and tents, used both indoors and outdoors at events and exhibitions.
All the structures are constructed from Rip Stop Nylon and Polyester Re enforced PVC. All fabrics are tested for performance of flammability for textiles used in the construction of marquees and similar textiles structures to standards: BS 7837:1996 / BS 5438:1989 / Test Method B.
The outdoor structures use a range of 0.75 or 1.5hp fans. These run at 70-90db and for most outdoor events this sound will dissertate. However, Dryspace has developed its own patented noise reduction system for the outdoor fans. This will reduce the noise to 50db at source and down to 40db at 15m. This is on par with standard ambient noise outside a city! The noise reduction units allow the structures to be used as intimate working spaces as well as big launch events and parties. 90% of the ‘fuel’ used by structures is just air and due to the fan designs very low power consumption. There is no requirement for heavy lifting machinery or large transport vehicles given that Dryspace structures do not use any heavy metal frames whatsoever. The structures do NOT require any rigging which insures that they have the absolute minimum impact on terrain leaving no holes or sunken patches. Due to the extremely short build-up and break-downs times (less than one day) the event period is far shorter than traditional marquees require, again, creating less impact on the terrain and surrounding environment.
Dryspace structures are the perfect solution for use at exhibitions and for all sorts of indoor activities. Rapidly deployed and ready for use in less than 3 hours, there is no better time saving solution. Many exhibition stands are built using elaborate materials which in most cases are literally thrown away after the event creating a large amount of non-biodegradable materials which can often find their way into land fill sites. Dryspace structures are repeatedly used by a number of clients and have a life span over 5 years.
